Assists low-income people who have chronic renal (kidney) disease cover their related medical expenses. The program can help with the patient expenses that remain after Medicare and private insurance have paid. Current benefits provided:

  • Co-payments for medical and prescriptions directly related to dialysis
  • Mileage for clients who travel outside of their city of residence for dialysis
  • Per diem lodging, if client is required by their physician to stay overnight for dialysis purposes
  • Reimbursement for health insurance premiums, including Medicare B premiums for client only
  • Transplant clients, reimbursement of immunosuppressant medications only
